- Prince Lionheart brings manufacturing back to California, and releases their latest nursery innovation
Prince Lionheart has been manufacturing baby products in California since 1973. Michael and Kelly McConnell, brother/sister team at the helm of Prince Lionheart, proudly say, "Our product line was born out of our grandparents' garage. We outgrew the garage years ago, but we still make every effort possible to produce products here at home, in our California manufacturing facility."
While some of Prince Lionheart's products are made overseas, Prince Lionheart stays true to its home turf and humble beginnings, even as competition in the juvenile industry continues to grow. "We continually strive to design products that can be manufactured in-house.Our goal is to produce more and more products in our Santa Maria, CA manufacturing facility. In order to reach these goals, we are constantly looking for clever ways to compete with the prices from overseas factories. It is also important that we make responsible choices when designing and selecting materials: using recycled material wherever possible, and building products that will span multiple years of use in a family's home."
With that said, Prince Lionheart's latest innovation, the Modular Diaper Depot, is made of 100% recycled material and is built to last. A purchase made for the nursery today, can be used in other areas of the home tomorrow.
The Modular Diaper Depot (MDD) is a product for the nursery that makes organizing easy. Keep it on a flat surface, in a cabinet or hang it on your changing table. Disney Consumer Products (DCP) has unveiled new toys inspired by the most anticipated movie releases of the summer: "Marvel's The Avengers," Disney Pixar's "Brave" and Sony Pictures' "The Amazing Spider-Man." This exciting product assortment features dolls, action figures, costumes and role play toys inspired by favorite Marvel Super Heroes and Disney Pixar's newest heroine, the bold and adventurous Merida.
Opening in theaters May 4, Marvel Studios presents "Marvel's The Avengers"—the Super Hero team-up of a lifetime featuring iconic Marvel Super Heroes: Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. On July 4, Sony Pictures' "The Amazing Spider-Man," based on the Marvel comic book, opens in theaters nationwide.
On June 22, Disney Pixar introduces a dynamic new heroine, Merida, in "Brave." The film is a grand adventure set in ancient Scotland and is filled with heart, memorable characters and signature Pixar humor that audiences of all ages will enjoy. Three hot summer toys destined to be big hits with kids and fans were recently recognized as summer "must-haves" on Time to Play magazine's "Most Wanted Summer Toys" list: the Merida Fashion Play Doll by Mattel, Merida Toddler Doll by Tollytots and "The Amazing Spider-Man" Electronic Figure by Hasbro.
